Student sentenced to 30 months imprisonment by a Famagusta court
A student who was arrested in August and taken to court for drug crime has been sentenced to two and a half years imprisonment by a Famagusta court.

Magaji, a Nigerian was arrested by narcotic
police on August 3 and taken to a court in Famagusta on charges of possessing 930
milligrams of synthetic cannabinoid, which he had stashed in a nylon at the side of
the road.
Mohammed Magaji, who is a student in one of the universities in north Cyprus and one of six children of his family who is supported by his uncle was caught with drugs in July, one month after his graduation.
He was given a 30 months prison sentence by the court on Friday.
