Student arrested for drugs in Alsancak

A 25-year-old student has been arrested in Alsancak by narcotics police for drug use.

The student identified only as Y.D, 25 was arrested on Thursday in Alsancak.

Police said, a total of 4 grams of drugs, a metal grinder and drug used in pipe as well as signs about virtual betting were seized from him.

He was taken to a Girne court and given a one day detention period pending investigation.
