Six prisoners go on hunger strike at the Lefkosa Central Prison

Six prisoners at the Lefkosa Central Prison has been on hunger strike for nine days on the ground that they want to be returned to Turkey.

The prison went on hunger strike on Monday last week in protest of being returned to Turkey to serve their jail term.

Medical report showed that they were in good condition despite abstaining from food in the last nine days.
