Hotel worker in Girne caught peeping on women using the toilet
The pervert identified only as Sinan Caftanlı was detected by a security camera.
Sinan Caftanlı, who works as a technician in a hotel in Kyrenia, peeped at the women's toilet and recorded obscene photographs of women using the toilet.
His friends suspected his movements and reported the incident to the hotel manager who reviewed the security cameras.
The accused, a Turkish citizen was arrested after a complaint to the police after he was caught red handed peeping through the women's restroom.
Investigations carried out on the suspect's mobile phone, detected two different women's obscene images in 8 separate photos.
He confessed to the crime and was taken to a Girne court on Monday.
The court judge ordered that he remain in detention for two months until trial.
