Greek Cypriot man kidnap ex girlfriend and threatened her with a knife

Greek Cypriot police are on the trail of a 28 year old man who abducted his ex girlfriend, locked her in the basement of his house and threatened her with a knife.

She told police that when she tried to use her mobile phone, he broke it. Hours later he let her go and she went to Limassol police to file a complaint.

The man is a Cypriot and the woman from Lithuania.

Police are looking for the man while the woman will be examined by a state pathologist.
