Father raped 17-year-old daughter for more than two and a half years
The man identified only as H.D was brought to a Lefkosa court on Tuesday on charges of rape.
The accused reportedly raped his 17-year-old daughter several times from between February 2016 and October 2018.
The issue was brought to the knowledge of the police by social services.
Medical examination showed that the girl was raped.
The accused pleaded guilty in his voluntary testimony.
The court then ordered him to remain detained for 2 days.
