EMU calls on dismissed students to reapply in Academic Amnesty

The Eastern Mediterranean University, EMU, Famagusta has announced that students who were dismissed from the university for various reasons can now reapply until October, 11, 2019 and continue from where they stopped.

The announcement in the university's official gazette last week under the framework the TRNC Academic Amnesty will enabled students who couldn't complete their studies for various reasons continue from where they left off.

The Academic Amnesty will be opened for a one year period until October, 11, 2019, which will fall into the 2018/2019 Fall Semester, 2018/2019 Spring Semester beginning in February and the 2019/2020 Fall Semester beginning in September, 2019.

The Amnesty covers those who were dismissed for poor grades, expiration of legal study periods including two extension periods, those dismissed during their thesis/project phase and those dismissed from their PhD studies during the stage of their qualification exam.
