Digital university to be launched from North Cyprus

A new online university is set to open in the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus.

According to the report by LGC news, Netkent Mediterranean Research and Science University is expected to begin offering lectures as of 15 October 2018.

The aim of the new university is to provide the opportunity to students to follow digital education without exams. 

The Netkent University will use online tools and the most modern development technologies following the new generation of education models.

Among the founders of the university are businessmen Vedat and Ali Eskinat who have invested in several fields related to e-education during the last 10 years. 

The aims of the new university is to provide all graduate students, workers and people who want to follow technology and gain access to alternative means of education.
