Cyprus Weather Report: More showers, as unsettled weather continues

Cyprus remains under a thunderstorm watch for the rest of the week due to an unstable air mass affecting the island, with increasing chances of afternoon hail storms inland and over the mountains.

Clouds that will form at intervals with local showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains, in the north and inland expected. 

Thunderstorms may be accompanied by hail.

Temperatures will be 29 C inland and on the coasts and around 19 C in the mountains.

On Friday and Saturday there will be periods of mainly fine weather with clouds at intervals. Local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, at noon and in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains and inland.

Temperatures will remain at about average for the time of year.
