Cyprus Weather Report: More rain fall expected

After the heavy downpour on Sunday and Monday, Tuesday will be mainly fine but clouds again will form at noon and in the afternoon leading to possible scattered showers in the mountains, inland and the eastern shores.

Temperatures will be 34 C inland, 31 C on the south and north coasts, around 29 C on remaining shores and 23 C in the mountains.

Temperatures will edge down to around average for the time of year. 

Wednesday and Thursday will see intervals of fine weather and increased cloud cover. Temperatures will rise a little to slightly above average for the time of year.

Sunday saw heavy rain and hail inland, particularly Nicosia where the fire service had to respond to scores of calls to remove fallen trees, help stranded drivers and clear out drains.
