Couple attacked by criminals in Girne

Two were have been arrested for attacking a couple and breaking the windscreen of their vehicle in a parking lot in Girne.

The incident happened at about 1:30am on Saturday.

The couple were inside their car parked at Baldöken car park in Girne, when two men attacked their vehicle and broke the windscreen. 

The man's wife had tried to escape but was resisted by the men who also attacked and stabbed her husband when he tried to rescue her.

The men fled away his phone after the incident. 

They were later arrested by the police.
