Cost of living in TRNC in the month of September up 6.20 percent

The cost of living in north Cyprus for the month of September was 6.20 percent. 

According to a statement released by the Prime Ministry’s State Planning Organization the 2018 month of September inflation rate compared to the previous month is 6.20 percent. 

Compared to the month of December last year the rate has gone up by 31.99 percent and compared to the same month in 2017 the rate has gone up by 37.23 percent. 

The three products where the highest price hikes have taken place are lettuce with an 85.61 percent increase, cabbage increased by 83.94 percent and primary school books increased by 83.50 percent.
