13-year-old pupil bitten by snake during school break in south Cyprus

A 13-year-old pupil was hospitalised after he was bitten by a snake on Friday during break time at a Paphos high-school in south Cyprus.

The boy was rushed to hospital where he was treated according to protocol although it had been determined that the snake was not poisonous.

The pupil was kept in hospital as a precaution.
