Two Syrians arrested at the Girne port for entering the country illegally

Two Syrian nationals have been arrested at the point of entry at the Girne port after entering the country illegally.

The two men identified as Hikman Abdo and Mohammad Ali Al-Osman, were arrested at about 8:30 pm on Tuesday shortly after entering the country illegally through the Girne port.

The two men were arrested after their suspicious movement at the port's parking lot got the attention of the police.

They were arrested and taken to the Girne court for trial on charges of "illegal entry".
