Two students arrested for using fake document to obtain visa at Turkish embassy in Lefkosa

Two students who used a fake student certificate to obtain student visa from the Turkish embassy in Lefkosa has been arrested.

According to police report, the incident happened on Tuesday when one of the accused, a 33-year-old student of the Near East University, identified as Kadir Gülyani, although not an active student received a fake student certificate from another accused identified only as Twafig Ali Nouralhadi Ali, 49.

Kadir Gülyani allegedly organized the false document in exchange for $ 250. The police found another document on Gülyani's USB and launched a large-scale investigation.

Twafig Ali Nouralhadi Ali is said to had altered the document and gave it to Kadir Gülyani in other to obtain a student visa at the Turkish embassy in Lefkosa.
