Two men detained for stealing iron in Dumlupınar

Two men have been arrested and detained by the TRNC police after they were caught red-handed stealing iron from a construction company in Dumlupınar district of Lefkosa.

The two men identified as Ahmet Devecigiller and Ahmet Karacuva, were arrested at about 4:00pm on Thursday at Candemir Street - Dumlupinar and brought to a Lefkosa court.

Police said anchor bars and other iron scrap materials was found in their vehicle.

They were ordered by the court to remain in detention for one day pending investigation.
