Student caught by landlord in Kermiya while trying to break into the apartment
The young student, identified only as J.S reportedly went to the house located in Kermiya at about 9:50pm on Wednesday, September, 19 and tried to force his way into the house through the kitchen door.
According to police report, the 79-year-old landlord of the apartment caught him while trying to force the kitchen door open.
The suspect was arrested by the police following a complaint by the landlord and then taken to a Lefkosa court on charges of 'attempting to commit a crime'.
He was granted bail with conditions by the court but he could not fulfill the conditions and was then ordered to remain in detention until he fulfilled the conditions or tried by the court.
