Man stabs neighbor in the head south Cyprus

A 41-year-old man has been stabbed in the head by his neighbour, in south Cyprus, police said.

According to report by Greek Cypriot police, the 41-year-old man from Bulgaria and a permanent Ayia Napa resident was stabbed on Friday night by his neighbour following a comment he made.

The man told police that on Friday afternoon he made a comment to his neighbour, whom he did not know.

Police said the 41-year-old later went to a kiosk in his area, when his neighbor showed up and stabbed him three times in the head.

The man was taken to Famagusta general hospital, stitched up and released.

Police are still searching for the individual who stabbed the 41-year-old.
