Knifeman stabs three people in Ravensburg town square in Germany

A man has gone on a stabbing spree in a southern German town, leaving at least three people injured before he was arrested.

The suspect was arrested after stabbing three people in a town in southern Germany, according to local police.

The Sun reports assailant in Ravensburg, Baden-Württemberg, was armed with a knife, but it is not yet known if the victims are seriously injured.

The stabbing occurred just after 4pm when a man stormed a city square and slashed three people, according to local website Schwaebische.

One of the victims — a man eating at a restaurant with his family — tried to fight him off, but suffered cuts to his back and arm during the struggle.

The other two victims were found at a bus stop and outside a nearby pub.
