Greek Cypriot police arrest two women for bringing duty-free tobacco from north Cyprus
The women who were arrested on Tuesday were caught attempting to bring 3.55 kilos of tobacco from north Cyprus.
The tobacco and the car was confiscated. Police said the total duty and tax for the tobacco was €740.
The two women were released after reaching an out of court settlement, agreeing to pay €1,350 and another €500 for the return of the car.
The tobacco was confiscated and will be destroyed.
