Four Planes could not land at Ercan due to bad weather conditions caused by heavy rain on Sunday
According to report by Airport authority, aircraft from Adana, Hatay and Antalya, all cities in Turkey could not land at Ercan due to heavy rain fall on Sunday afternoon.
Three of the plane were forced to return to Adana while another returned to Antalya.
Three of the plane that could not land belonged to Pegasus Airlines and the other belonged to an airline that made charter flights.
Airport authorities said, trouble started about 2:00pm on Sunday.
