18-year-old construction worker falls from uncompleted building in Girne, fracture wrist

An 18-year-old construction worker have been seriously injured after falling from a height of 6 meters while working in a building site in Girne.

According to police report, the victim, Aytekin Vecih Önal, 18 was working on the balcony of the second floor of the uncompleted building located at Yavuz Sokollu Street in Girne at about 10:30am on Friday when he lost his balance and  fell from a height of 6 meters.

He sustained a serious injury including a fracture wrist.

He was taken to the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa and kept under observation.
