Two men who were initially jailed for drug offenses arrested for drug in Gonyeli

Two men who have severally been jailed for drug related crimes have been arrested again for drugs.

Cemal Cengizhan, who have been sent to prison on several occasion for drug offenses, and Ersan Tarım, 28 who was recently released from prison in July, were arrested again with drugs during a drug operation by narcotics police in Gönyeli on Thursday.

They were taken to a court in Lefkosa.

Police said two grams of synthetic cannabionid type drug was found on Cemal Cengizhan in Gönyeli while he confessed to taking about 5 grams of narcotic substance from Ersan Tarım in Alayköy and admitted to taking some of it.

They were ordered to remain in custody for one day.
