Two arrested for missing $4 million belonging to an IVF Center, operating in Famagusta
Two people were arrested after $4 million was found in the accounts of the UKCFA IVF Center, operating within the Famagusta Medical Center Hospital.
Mehmet Çetin Ataunal, Finance Manager of the UKCFA IVF Center, operating within the Famagusta Medical Center Hospital, and Canan Kaçmaz, the secretary and accounting officer of the Financial Branch Unit, of the center, were arrested on Wednesday.
According to information given about their arrest at the Famagusta Court, the two people were arrested on the grounds that $4 million deficit was found in the accounts of UKCFA Tube Baby Center and that 475,000 TL immovable properties belonging to the company was registered in the name of Canan Kaçmaz.
They were arrested on the complaints of Halil İbrahim Tekin, the Gynecologist at the UKCFA IVF Center.
The suspects were ordered to be detained for one day.
