Thief steals beach goers bag in Bafra beach

Thieves now go to beaches in north Cyprus to steal beach goers belongings.

A bag containing a phone charger, car key, sunglasses, sport shoes, toothbrush and several items were reportedly stolen from a public beach belonging to Mehmetçik Municipality in Bafra.

The bag belonging to a couple was left on a beach chair on Monday.

A 29-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the theft.
