Student who broke into a construction company to steal money also entered four other business premises in two months

A student who was arrested for breaking into a construction company in Famagusta where he stole a lot of money reportedly broke into other different business premises in the last two months investigation shows.

Police investigation has revealed that the suspect who was arrested and detained in a prison in Famagusta last week, for stealing loads of cash from Noyanlar Construction Ltd, in Famagusta has broken into four different businesses in two months.

According to report, the accused had reportedly broken into four different business premises in June and August, including a foreign exchange bureau, photographer shop, real estate agent and a pharmacy.

The suspect who has reportedly broken into five different businesses throughout the city of Famagusta accepted the crimes by voluntary testifying to the crime after his finger fingerprints were detected and matched.

Police said his fingered prints was matched against those at Fast Easy Finans Ltd. on the Ismet Inonu Boulevard in Famagusta which was robbed on 26 June 2018.

The suspect also broke into a business premises and took one camera device and 164 pounds in the cashier section and according to police his finger prints matched with those collected from the site.

Police said he also entered the business premises of Foto Tamel in June where he stole a laptop computer and 300 TL.

In August, he entered a real estate agent's office and stole 880 TL and in August again, he entered into a Pharmacy where he stole 500 TL.

The accused who was earlier detained by a court in Famagusta has been ordered to remain in detention for another seven days.

Police say they are trying to find the cash money and camera recorders which he allegedly stole.

Police said the suspect had entered a building belonging to Noyanlar Construction Ltd. operating on Topçular Boulevard in Gazimağusa between 14.00 and 08.00 hours between 14-15 August 2018 after the aluminum door in the basement was opened without any damage.

Police said the suspect took about 43,500 TL from the office desk drawer and also took about 9,600 pounds, 500 euros cash from a safe.

Police said the suspect was arrested on August, 21 while riding a bicycle after camera images were investigated.
