Romanian woman who hid drug in her bra caught at the border gate with south Cyprus

A Romanian woman has been arrested and detained in north Cyprus while trying to smuggle drugs from the country to south Cyprus through the border.

According to police report, the accused identified as Andre Theodore Nic, 20 of Romanian origin was caught with 600 grams of methamphetamine type drugs at the Beyarmudu Border Gate with South Cyprus on Saturday.

According to police report, the suspect had imported the drugs from Turkey into the country through the Ercan Airport.

She was arrested while trying to smuggled the drug to south Cyprus through the Beyarmudu border.

Police said she hid the drugs in her bra.

She confessed to the crime and was detained for 3 days on the order of a Lefkosa court.
