Police finds man unconscious inside a car in Gazimagusa after drug overdose

Narcotics police arrested four people in Gazimagusa for drug abuse after a young man was found unconscious under the influence of alcohol in a vehicle.

Police said the man was found unconscious in a car in Gazimagusa and under the influence of drug.

Three people identified as E.Ç., ZK, İ.D. and BL were arrested in connection with the incident and jailed for three days on charges of drug abuse and drug saving.

According to police witness, E.C was spotted in the vehicle with a wrapped cigarette, believed to be a synthetic cannabinoid type drug mixed with tobacco on Saturday August, 18 along Koruk Market.

Police said a substance believed to be a synthetic cannabinoid type drug weighing 2 grams was found in his shorts pocket after a search was carried out on him.

Police said the other suspects were arrested one by one following investigation into the incident.
