Official death toll from Greek fires rises to 93

The official toll from wildfires in East Attica, Greece has reached 93, following the death of a hospitalized victim on Thursday. 

The latest fatality was a 78-year-old woman from Mati with chronic health issues who was in the intensive care unit of Sismanoglio hospital.

Overall, 34 people from Mati are currently in Attica hospitals. Six of them are intubated while a minor in Aghia Sophia Children’s Hospital is in good condition.
