North Cyprus police detain Greek Cypriot man after a gun was found in his car

A 50 year old Greek Cypriot man has been arrested in north Cyrus after police found a shot gun in his car at a checkpoint at Pergamos

The man had gone to the Perganos checkpoint to cross over to north Cyprus around 11 am on Monday when he was arrested. 

The man is expected to appear before a Famagusta ‘court’ on Tuesday.
