Some major road to be closed to traffic in Lefkosa and Famagusta on Sunday and Tuesday
Some roads will be closed to traffic in Nicosia this
Sunday and in Famagusta on Tuesday because of the rehearsals for the
August 30 Victory Day ceremony.
According to the announcement, drivers who want to go to the New Organize industrial zone, (Sanayi Bölgesi) at the specified dates and times, will have to take the approved traffic detour from the intersection of the road in front of the Altinbas Petrol station and the prison.
Drivers coming from Famagusta direction and want to go to the Near East University Hospital will be able to reach the Near East Boulevard by following the secondary road which is located at Altinbas Petrol Station lights, Industrial Zone and north of Atatürk Sports Hall.
Drivers coming from the direction of Famagusta and going into the city of Lefkosa; can turn left from the Hamitköy roundabout and turn left from Mimar Mehmet Vahid Avenue and Şht Ismail Beyoğlu Avenue or Tofaş Lights to Şht Mustafa Ahmet Ruso Street or Altinbas Petrol lights to Kemal Aksay Caddesi.
Drivers coming from the direction of Famagusta and going towards Güzelyurt; From Lefkosa Mehmet Akif Caddesi can reach the Metehan – Alayköy roundabout road or Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street (State Hospital) using the Gönyeli roundabout. Driving from the direction of Güzelyurt to Lefkosa Alayköy – Metehan environment road or Gönyeli roundabout and Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street (State Hospital) will be able to use the route.
Drivers travelling from Kyrenia to Nicosia; can use the road to Boğazköy-Dikmen, from Altinkas crossing from Lefkosa Organize Industrial Zone. Fazıl Small Boulevard; Drivers using the Kyrenia-Nicosia main road Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street (State Hospital) will be able to use that route.
In Famagusta, Fazil Polat Pasa Boulevard will be closed to traffic until 16:00 on August 28, Tuesday, until the end of the ceremony rehearsal.
