House owners, schools should accept Turkish Lira from students
The president of TRNC Ülkü Ocakları, has called on schools, dormitories and house owners in north Cyprus who demand wages and rents in foreign currencies to accept the Turkish Lira as means of payment.
According to Fatih Arıcı, the President of the TRNC Ülkü Ocakları, schools, dormitories and house owners should begin to accept the Turkish Lira so that students can enjoy their stay in the TRNC adding that the increasing exchange rates is negatively affecting the Turkish students who are studying in the country.
In his written statement, Arıcı expressed hope that the TRNC Government would encourage interested persons to shop base on Turkish Lira.

We emphasize with all our open heartedness that we will be at the side of all sensitive Turkish Cypriots, who explain or will communicate with us as Turkish-nationalist young people who continue their presence in the TRNC, said Arıcı.
