Four young boys caught taking drugs in Lefkosia Park

Four young boys between the ages of 19 and 21 were arrested in Lefkosia after they were caught taking drugs.

According to police report, the four boys between the age of 19 and 21 were arrested at about 11pm on Tuesday August, 28, near the Marmara Park in Lefkosia, after they were caught taking drug.

The four boys identified only as M.A.E, 21, F.A, 19, Ş.K, 20 C.H, 20 were taken to a court in Lefkosia on charges of "taking, saving and giving illegal drugs (synthetic cannabinoids)".

One of the boys speaking during court proceeding said; "We are smokers. We are only using it ".

Police said 4 grams of synthetic drugs was found on S.K, while about 2 grams of substance, believed to be a synthetic cannabinoid type drug was found at the disposal of M.A.E and about 10 milligrams at the disposal of F.A.

They were ordered to remain in detention for two days pending trial.
