Cyprus Weather Report: Yellow weather warning issued for Friday

Cyprus will continue to sizzle on Friday as the met office has issued a yellow warning that temperature is expected to rise to 41C inland in Lefkosa/Nicosia.

The warning is for the time period between 1am and 5pm. 

In the other areas, temperatures are expected to reach 32C in the west, 35C in the other coastal areas and 30C in the mountains.

This is the third yellow alert in two days, and comes in the wake of maximum temperatures of 41 C inland on Wednesday and 40 C on Thursday.

The weekend is expected to be slightly cooler.
