Crazy Cyprus weather! Heavy rain and thunder in the mountains on Wenesday! (VIDEO)

Cyprus weather can be crazy sometimes! Imagine heavy rain in August! The weather is becoming more and more crazy as video footage shows heavy rainfall falling in the mountain areas on Wednesday.

A video footage posted online shows rain falling near Pera Pedi and Moniatis in south Cyprus and its accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds which is completely odd for this time of the year in Cyprus especially in August which is one of the hottest months of the year.

The Cyprus Metro Office earlier today announced a yellow warning due to the very high temperatures which reached 40 and 41 degrees during lunchtime.
