Crawler truck damaged by fire along the Girne - Mountain road

A crawler truck belonging to a construction company has been seriously destroyed by fire while operating along the Girne - Mountain road.

The crawler truck belonging to Üstaş Ltd reportedly caught fire along the Girne - Degirmenlik Highway, at about 5:45pm on Thursday.

According to report the truck was operating when it caught fire as a result of the oil on the hydraulic system running on the machine.

Fire fighter quickly intervened and the fire was put off.

The truck was seriously damage and has become unusable.
