Concrete mixer falls on roadside along the Famagusta - Lefkosa high way

A concrete mixer fell off the Famagusta - Lefkosa high way in a terrible accident leaving the driver seriously injured.

The incident happened at about 2:00pm on Tuesday when the driver was who was heading to Lefkosa lost control of the truck and fell to the side of the road.

The injured driver was taken to the Gazimağusa State Hospital following police intervention.

The truck suffered extensive damage in the accident.
