29-year-old man arrested with gun in Famagusta

A 29-year-old Turkish Cypriot man was arrested in Famagusta after he was found with a gun.

The man identified as Serkan Çıldan, 29 was arrested at Tuzla, Famagusta at about 8:00pm on Friday after he was found unconscious inside a car by the roadside.

Police said he was found with a pistol and a magazine of 8 mm in diameter.

He denied that the gun does not belong to him.
