Turkish Cypriot nurse attacked by patient while on duty
The incident which happened on Monday night has been strongly condemned by the head of the Turkish Cypriot Nurses.
According to report, the nurse named Aysun Kasapoğlu, an employee of Akdoğan Health Care Center was attacked and beaten by a patient why responding to an emergency.
The nurse had received a distress call and quickly went to the scene with an ambulance but was beaten and injured in the neck while trying to save a life.
The nurse head in a written statement emphasized that the reason for the assault can not be attributed to any reason.
