Man who killed a high school teacher in Turkey years ago has been arrested in north Cyprus
The suspect identified as Yildiray Keklik, had killed a high school teacher on October, 7, 2012 in Adana, Turkey by cutting his throat following a heated argument. He then flee to the TRNC after the incident.
Since his disappearance, the Turkish police has been on the look out for him.
He was arrested on July, 7, 2018 on charges of escaping to the TRNC to avoid trial and was jailed for 20 days to allow for investigation.
The TRNC is requested to arrest and extradict the accused back to Turkey to face trial for murder a letter, addressed to the TRNC police states.
