Three people caught with cocaine and gun in Lefkosa

Three people including a woman and two men have been arrested in Lefkosa by narcotics police after they were caught with cocaine and gun.

According to police report, the suspects identified as Mehmet Ali Ulcay, 27, his girlfriend, Zümrüt Toklu,19 and Ömer Zateroğulları, 33 were arrested in their home in Kermi area, Lefkosa on Tuesday by the TRNC narcotics police during a raid.

1 pistol, 20 grams of Indian hemp, 4 grams of cocaine, one gram of heroin and one gram of synthetic cannabinoid were found on the suspects. 

Police said 80 euro and 2,695 TL believed to be obtained from the sale of drugs were found and seized from them. 

They were accused of bringing drugs from the South.and were taken to court on Tuesday on charges of illegal drug possession and ordered to remain in detention for two days pending investigation into the incident.
