Russian tourist rescued from drowning in north Cyprus beach on Sunday dies
A 32-year-old Russian tourist who was rescued from drowning in a beach in North Cyprus on Sunday has died.
The victim identified as Tatiana Lashiana, 32, a Russian tourist in north Cyprus was rescued from drowning at the Esentepe Public Beach in Girne on Sunday afternoon.
She was taken to a Girne Hospital in an ambulance following medical team intervention, and later transferred to the Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa where she was kept under observation at the intensive care unit.
But unfortunately, Tatiana Lashiana, couldn't make it and died at about 2:40 am on Tuesday morning.
In related incident, two other people were also rescued from drowning at the Aladadi beach on the same day.
