Russian tourist almost drown at Esentepe beach in Girne
The victim identified as Tatiana Lashiana, 32, a Russian tourist in north Cyprus almost drown at the Esentepe Public Beach in Girne on Sunday afternoon.
According to media report, Tatiana Lashiana, was in danger of drowning due to the intense sea wave overflowing at about 15 meters.
She was taken to a Girne Hospital in an ambulance following the intervention of health teams who arrived the scene within minutes of the incident.
She was later transferred to the Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa where she was kept under observation at the intensive care unit.
