Putin grants fans' visa-free entry' to Russia until end of 2018

Russian president, Vladimir Putin has extended the validity of fan IDs that allowed ticket-holders to enter Russia during the World Cup that was initially scheduled to expire on July 25 until the end of 2018.

President Vladimir Putin made this announcement after the World Cup final on Sunday.

I think we will do the following: for foreign fans who currently have fan IDs, we will give them multi-entry visa-free travel until the end of the year, Putin told reporters
