The 25-year-old was one of his country’s standout performers at the World Cup in Russia, sparking rumours of a £50m move to United, with Jose Mourinho keen to bolster his defence. However, the Foxes do not want to lose another star player after seeing Riyad Mahrez leave for Man City.

Barcelona’s interest in Malcom has reportedly delayed the Bordeuax winger’s proposed switch to Roma. The Mirror
are among those reporting the Brazilian’s move has stalled at the 11th
hour, with the £30m deal seemingly over the line on Monday after his
club tweeted: "Bordeaux
informs you that an agreement has been reached, subject to the
signature of the administrative documents, with Roma for the transfer of
Malcom."
