Man arrested in TRNC, 6-years after he committed murder in Turkey
A man who committed murder in Turkey and had been living in north Cyprus in the last six years has been arrested in Lefkosa.
The man identified as Yildiray Keklik, is said to have killed a public official in Adana, Turkey in 2012 and then flee to the TRNC in November of the same year.
He was arrested on Sunday July 8 in Lefkosa and taken to court.
The court ordered that he remain in detention for 20 days for the for the purpose of completing his extradition proceedings.
