Man arrested for sexually harassing patient in a hospital in Lefkosa

He has a mental disorder and was at the hospital to take his medication. Then he saw a beautiful patient at the hospital and told her she was beautiful, and as if that was not enough, he touched her hands and squeezed her bum bum.. But who does that to a patient they have never met before?

A 31-year-old man who is believed to be unstable have been arrested for sexually assaulting a 22-year-old patient in a Hospital in Lefkosa.

The man identified as Kudret Evli, 31, a foreign worker in the country had visited the Peace, Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital in Lefkosa for treatment when he committed the act on a 22-year-old girl who is being treated at the same hospital.

Kudret Evli, was arrested in Lefkosa on Tuesday and taken to a court in Lefkosa on charges of alleged sexual harassment.

He did not accept the crimes of "Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment" charges brought against him in court.

According to police report, the accused who is not a citizen of the country whispered into the girl's ear that she was "very beautiful." He then squeezed her left hand and hips.

The police said the accused who had 30 separate convictions in the past was taking advantage of the  the Supervised Freedom Act, from drug offense that mandate him go to the hospital every 14 days was arrested on the same day.

Police said he had been treated in the hospital because of his behavior disorder and that his doctor testified in the investigation.

He was released on bail of 50,000 TL pending trial and must report to the police at least two days a week.
