Internet to improve in North Cyprus

A protocol has been signed to improve the general capacity and speed of internet services in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The protocol was signed between the Minister for Public Works and Communications Tolga Atakan and Türk Telecom CEO Dr. Paul Doany.

Making a brief statement at the end of the signing ceremony Minister Atakan said that while they will be decreasing the wholesale price of the internet they will be improving the quality of the internet in the country.

The CEO of Turk Telecom Dr. Paul Doany for his part said that Turk Telecom spearheaded Turkey’s change to the digital age and added that as a result of the protocol they have signed with the TRNC Telecommunications Department North Cyprus will also be added to this change period.
