Inflation rate rises by 2.49% in TRNC

Inflation in the TRNC has gone up by 2.49% in the first six months of the year.

According the TRNC State Planning Organisation announcement on Wednesday, inflation has gone up by 2.49%.

In line with the law, the 12.11% rise in the inflation recorded in the first 6 months of the year will be reflected to the July salaries of public sector employees.

A rise has been recorded in the average prices of 433 goods and services.

The prices of 54 goods and services have dropped it added.
