Girne American University (GAU) opens 14 new departments

The Girne American University (GAU), Girne, North Cyprus has announced the opening of 14 new departments.

The university made the announcement in a written statement through the Student Affairs Department President Zerin Gürler.

The 14 new departments, which were approved by YÖK and will begin their education in the academic year 2018-2019, as follows:
 
Vocational High School:
Public Relations and Publicity 
Office Management and Executive Assistant (Turkish) 
Press and Publishing (Turkish) 
Cookery (Turkish) 
Interior Design (Turkish) 
Child Development (Turkish) 

Health Vocational School:
Mouth and Dental Health Turkish) 
 
College of Physical Education and Sports:
Sports Management (Turkish)

Engineering Faculty:
Ship Machinery Faculty of

Humanities:
American Culture and Literature 
 
Faculty of Education:
Music Teacher Training (in Turkish)
 
Faculty of Communication:
Media and Communication (Turkish) 
New Media (Turkish) 

Faculty of Health Sciences:
Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (Turkish)
